Mechanical Fitter, Fitter Machinist and Diesel Mechanics

Sloanebuilt group of companies are seeking to appoint a new mechanical fitter, fitter machinist and diesel mechanic.
Sloanebuilt are seeking a skilled mechanical fitter, fitter machinist and diesel mechanic for full time employment with a background in the manufacturing and repair industry.

We are seeking to appoint highly experienced and skilled candidates for full time employment with a background in the metal fabrication industry for the following positions:

  • Mechanical fitters with experience in assembly and repair of equipment, knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics is desirable.
  • Fitter machinists with manual machining experience using lathes, milling machines and general mechanical workshop equipment and fitting experience in the manufacture of new and repair of damaged machinery.
  • Diesel motor mechanics with experience in maintaining, testing and repairing diesel motors and the mechanical parts of trucks, buses and other heavy vehicles such as transmissions, suspension, steering and brakes.

    Requirements
    To be eligible for this role, applicants must:
  • Be willing to work a 38 hour week plus limited overtime as required.
  • Have 5 years work experience in a similar role.
    • Self motivated and able to work independently as required.

  • The successful candidate must be someone who prides themselves in producing high quality work with good interpersonal skills with a can-do attitude.
  • They must be capable of multitasking, organising tasks and can work unsupervised.

    Remuneration
  • $58,292 - $77,140 per year dependent on skills and experience.
  • Remuneration can be negotiated with the successful applicant at interview stage.
